 Edin
Zametica was born in Foča, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1963. He successfully
graduated from the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Electrical Engineering in
1987, where he gained his Master of Science Degree in 1992.
His professional career includes the following positions: Head of the Research
Team (“Energoinvest: Electric Power Research Institute” in Sarajevo), Senior
Teaching Assistant (the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Electrical
Engineering), Advisor to the Minister (the Ministry of Energy, Mining and
Industry of the Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Presently he is a Chief of Staff with the State Energy Regulatory Commission of
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr. Zametica is proactive in various bodies dealing with Energy Community issues
and regulatory perspective of energy sector.
